No wonder why so many Ontarians are upset with the Kathleen Wynne Liberal government.
They seem to be on opposite ends of the planet when you weigh what is important to each.
In a recent Ipsos poll conducted exclusively for Global News, it reveals Ontario families have a very different set of priorities than Premier Wynne.
What matters most to Ontarians heading into the next election?
Health care is No. 1 at 40 per cent, while Wynne’s relationship with nurses and doctors is questionable at best. The next priority for Ontarians, the economy and jobs at 35 per cent, followed by lower taxes at 34 per cent.
After punting the cost of refinancing their energy “mistake” 30 years down the road, lower energy costs came in at 29 per cent.
That doesn’t sound like the world we have been living in or that of the Wynne Liberals.
Their priorities have been wind turbines, gas plants, smart metres, electric cars and soaring electricity rates to pay for it all.
How could Wynne be so out of touch with what is important to Ontarians?
We’ll find out in June when you decide her fate.
