Wednesday
-42 is what it felt like as you were heading out Wednesday morning as temperatures plunged back to -32 to start the day, but that’s nothing compared to Key Lake where wind chills dipped down to -52.
Extreme cold warnings were issued for the city shortly after 8 a.m. CT and ended just after 10 a.m. as we warmed up to -20 by noon with wind chills still stuck in the -30s under mostly sunny skies.
Mostly sunny skies stuck around for the rest of the day as we climbed back up into the mid-minus teens with wind chills staying close to the -30s.

Weekend Outlook
Warm air will stick around for the first half of the weekend with daytime highs soaring right into mid-minus single digits Saturday under mostly cloudy skies before falling back a few degrees on Sunday as more sunshine moves back in.
