Montreal school bus drivers have announced they will be walking off the job Wednesday, Feb. 28, after having rejected the latest offer by their employer, Autobus Transco.
The Transco-CSN union says the agreement failed to address drivers’ wage concerns.

It will be the third day-long strike since union members voted overwhelmingly in favour of a strike mandate in late January.
Some 15,000 students on 300 different routes will have to find alternative means of getting to school.

WATCH: Thousands of Montreal parents scrambled to get their kids to school as unionized Autobus Transco employees began a two-day strike.
The affected school boards are as follows:
- Lester B. Pearson School Board: 2,640 students on 55 routes
- Commision scolaire Marguerite-Bourgeoys: 3,936 students on 82 routes
- Commission scolaire de Montréal: 2,832 students on 59 routes
- English Montreal School Board: 4,224 students on 88 routes
- Collège Sainte-Anne, a private school: 864 students on 18 routes
