Murals he created in 1950 at the former Intercontinental Packers plant were slated to be destroyed when the building was demolished in 2009.

Those were saved and will find a new home when the Remai Art Gallery of Saskatchewan opens.

Perehudoff was a member of the Order of Canada and was awarded the Saskatchewan Order of Merit.
