REGINA – Saskatchewan’s premier is off to Washington next week to promote the province’s energy sector.
Premier Brad Wall will be in the American capital from March 5-8.
Wall is scheduled to meet with the Obama administration to promote Saskatchewan’s oil and uranium resources along with the province’s leadership in clean coal technology.
He will also meet with senior leaders in the Senate and House of Representatives.
The Keystone XL pipeline project is also on the agenda.
Wall will be urging federal leaders to support and approve the project.
While in Washington, Wall will deliver two keynote addresses, one at the Woodrow Wilson Centre and the other at a conference hosted by the Energy Council.
