According to Sgt. Benoit Richard with the Sûreté du Québec, the car’s driver died after he lost control of his vehicle and it was hit broadside – or ‘T-boned’ – by the bus on the driver’s side.

The bus then went off the road into the snowy ditch. The bus driver suffered minor injuries in the accident.
