Police in Newfoundland suspend search for man missing since last week

ST. JOHN’S, N.L. – Police in St. John’s, N.L. have suspended the search for a 20-year-old man missing since last Friday.

Joshua Miller was last seen getting out of a cab in the area of Blue Puttee Drive near Stavanger Drive in the city.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary say Miller was only wearing light clothing when he left the cab.

An extensive search over the last few days has included ground teams and a helicopter as well as a water rescue team.

Several of Miller’s friends have also been involved in the search.
