Toronto police are seeking the public’s help in identifying two suspects wanted in connection with an assault with a weapon investigation.
The incident took place on Nov. 13 around 7:30 p.m. in the parking lot of a Tim Horton’s on Victoria Park Avenue, just north of Highway 401.
The suspects allegedly entered the restaurant and approached a 50-year-old man and demanded he pay an outstanding debt before leaving the establishment.
The victim left the restaurant and was then confronted by a second suspect as he was entering his vehicle.
One of the suspects then allegedly proceeded to pistol-whip the victim in the face.
Police say both suspects were last seen fleeing the scene on foot.
The first suspect is described as a black male, six-feet-tall, weighing 230 pounds with a heavy build and was last seen wearing a black coat, black pants, brown shoes and a grey toque.
The second suspect is described as a black male, five-foot-ten, weighing 180 pounds with a medium build and was last seen wearing a red coat and jeans.
Anyone with information is being asked to contact police or call Crime Stoppers.
