Two men were rushed to hospital following an incident near David Livingstone School early Wednesday morning.
Emergency responders were called to the 100 block of Charles Walk in the North End for a report of an injured person at around 2:30 a.m.
Police said they found two men suffering serious injuries, one was unconscious and not breathing. CPR was performed until paramedics arrived. Both men were taken to hospital in critical condition but one was pronounced dead a short time later. The second man remains in hospital.
Police told Global News early Wednesday morning that the injuries were the result of a fight.

Blood and clothes were found in the field near the school, which has Nursery to Grade 8 students.
Police have not released any more details about the men involved or what happened.
