The workers ran to the middle of highway to avoid the car, but the driver altered its course towards the middle of the road as well.

The car struck the work truck and one of the workers before stopping briefly. It then sped off towards Mission.

The employee received injuries to his back and leg, but they are not life threatening.

If you have any information regarding a silver Nissan Altima that is missing its passenger side mirror, you are asked to call Ridge Meadows RCMP at 604-463-6251, or CRIMESTOPPERS.
