3 injured during shooting in Portage la Prairie

One person is in critical condition and two others were sent to hospital after a shooting early Saturday morning in Portage la Prairie.

RCMP said they responded to a report of shots fired at a residence on Royal Road North around 5 a.m.

When they arrived, three people were found with injuries.

RCMP are now asking for the public’s assistance in locating two suspects: 18-year-old Brandon resident Gary Joseph McIvor, also known as Gary Roulette, and 19-year-old Mateo Roulette from Portage la Prairie.

McIvor has been charged with three counts of attempted murder. Roulette is facing three counts of aggravated assault.
