Man shot in alleged Saskatoon home invasion released from hospital

Saskatoon police said a man who was shot in the hand during an alleged home invasion has been released from hospital.

The shooting happened early Wednesday morning at an apartment in the 3700-block of Diefenbaker Drive.

The 38-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment of his minor injuries and has since been released.

No suspects have been identified and investigators continue their efforts to interview the victim.

Members of the targeted enforcement team continue to investigate.
