Saskatoon police arrested two teens after a stolen truck got stuck in a field south of the city on Monday.
An officer spotted the Ford F-350 in the 1300-block of Lorne Avenue shortly before 3 a.m. CT. A traffic stop was attempted, however the driver refused and began driving in a dangerous manner.
Members of the Air Support Unit (ASU) quickly located the vehicle as it travelled onto Cartwright Street.
Police said the truck left the road and travelled into a field where it got stuck.
Two 17-year-olds were located and arrested by officers on the ground.
The boy is facing charges that include evading police, dangerous driving, carrying a concealed weapon, breach of an undertaking, breach of probation and impaired driving.
The girl is facing charges of possession of stolen property and breach of an undertaking.
Both are scheduled to appear Tuesday in Saskatoon provincial court.
