TORONTO – Environment Canada issued a freezing rain warning Tuesday morning for areas surrounding Toronto.
Much of Ontario stretching from Waterloo-Wellington to Cornwall and north to Algonquin is under a freezing rain warning.

Most areas could receive up to 3 mm of freezing rain throughout the morning.
The freezing rain is expected to change to rain later in the day as temperatures rise across Ontario.
Toronto may be spared from freezing rain.
Environment Canada suggests there is a 40 per cent chance of rain Tuesday with a slight risk of a thunderstorm during the afternoon.
