The RCMP released photos of a stolen pickup truck on Thursday night just hours after they said the driver rammed two of their police cruisers in a Walmart parking lot in Okotoks.

According to police, officers were called to reports of an “erratic driver” in the parking lot just before 6 p.m. When they found the truck, they said the suspect rammed the cruisers and fled the scene.

No injuries were reported but after the incident had unfolded, police found out the truck was stolen.

Police released two still images taken from dashcam video captured in one of the police cruisers as the incident occurred. They are hoping the photos will help them find both the truck and the driver.

The truck is a 2001 white Dodge pickup truck with Alberta licence plate BVF5334. The suspect is a man who appears to be in his early 30s and has medium-length brown hair and facial hair.
