It will be at least another week before a man found guilty of killing his mother back in 2014 learns his fate in court.
Brian Whitlock, who killed his mother in 2014, was in B.C. Supreme Court for a sentencing hearing Tuesday.
However, the case has been put over until Oct. 30.
Whitlock, 30, was found guilty in June of 2017.

The Crown has alleged that Whitlock suffers from mental illness, is not accepting treatment, and is still a risk to the public.
Prosecutors have argued that he should be held without parole for 12 to 15 years.
In 2012, Whitlock was involved in another high profile case for killing his German Shepard, Captain, and leaving him in a Kitsilano dumpster.
A possible sentence for his mother’s murder could come next week.
