A 31-year-old London man and 28-year-old London woman are facing a multitude of charges in connection to an investigation in the city’s east end over the weekend that ended with the seizure of two firearms, ammunition, and drugs, police said Monday.

Combined, the pair faces a total of 44 firearms and drug-related charges.

Police said an officer observed a man driving in the area of Vancouver and Wavell Streets around 5:30 p.m. Sunday. The man, police said, was wanted on outstanding warrants. The officer attempted to stop the vehicle by activating their emergency lights, but the driver didn’t stop and drove away.
