Vancouver Canucks put down Buffalo Sabres

So far the Vancouver Canucks are 2-1 on the road, after defeating the Buffalo Sabres 4-2 Friday night.

Vancouver’s victory was sealed with an empty netter from Derek Dorsett.

Markus Granlund, Derek Dorsett, and Daniel Sedin all scored goals for the Canucks, while Justin Bailey and Jack Eichel managed to put the Sabres on the board.

Jacob Markstrom saved 20 of 22 shots on goal for Vancouver, while Chad Johnson managed to snag 37 of 40.

One face missing from Vancouver’s bench Friday night was Erik Gudbranson.

He had to serve a one-game suspension after hitting Boston’s Frank Vatrano from behind Thursday.
