Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a suspicious death in Kitchener.

On Thursday afternoon, police responded to a call at an apartment at 140 King St. W. around 4:30 p.m. regarding an injured man.
When they arrived, they found the body of 73-year-old Bernard Joseph Gallant. A post mortem is scheduled to be conducted in Hamilton today.

Meantime, police have arrested a 19-year-old Megan Birtch of Waterloo in connection with the incident.
Police say the victim and the accused were known to each other and she is scheduled for a court hearing Friday.
