Hundreds attend vigil for murdered woman Rachel Pernosky

Between four and five hundred people showed up to Heritage Park in Mission on Thursday night to pay tribute to a woman friends and family described as ‘loving’ and ‘wonderful.’

18-year-old Rachel Pernosky went missing from her Mission home last Saturday morning, and was found dead in Chilliwack on Tuesday morning.

She leaves behind her one-year-old son Marco, who was at the vigil on Thursday night.

Pernosky’s mother, brother, and sister were also there, along with friends of the young mother.

No one has been arrested in connection to Pernosky’s death, but investigators say they have several persons of interest.

More then 30 police officers are trying to solve the case.
