Man dead after collision between car and semi on Highway 41

Saskatoon RCMP said a 68-year-old Melfort man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 41 near Aberdeen. Google Maps

MD Ambulance said one man was killed after a collision between a car and a semi on Highway 41 between Saskatoon and Aberdeen.

Saskatoon RCMP said the crash happened at around 7 a.m. CT on Saturday when the vehicles collided in the northbound lanes near Aberdeen.

The driver of the car, a 68-year-old man from Melfort, was declared dead at the scene by paramedics. His name has not been released.

The driver of the semi was not injured.

Saskatoon RCMP and a collision reconstructionist continue to investigate.

Aberdeen is approximately 35 kilometres northeast of Saskatoon.
