Abbotsford Police confirm one man has died after a head-on collision on Friday night.

Police responded to the 2400-block of Whatcom Road around 9:30 p.m., where they found two men with serious injuries.

Both drivers were transported to hospital where a 33-year-old man later succumbed to his injuries.

Police say the other victim in the crash, a 21-year-old man, remains in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Abbotsford Police major crime detectives and collision reconstructionists are investigating the crash.
