Two Manitoba Conservation Officers are searching a Winnipeg neighborhood for a moose reportedly wandering the streets.

Conservation was spotted in Wildwood looking for the moose.

Tweets from that area show what appears to be a moose running through back lanes.

Oakenwald School posted on social media that students were outside of school when the moose ran by.

While deer, even coyote sightings are common in Winnipeg, a moose spotted in the city is rare.

Sightings have even turned heads in rural Manitoba.

In June drivers travelling Highway 59 near Niverville reported a moose running through the fields there.
