A moose has been spotted in a very strange place.
Several residents have seen it wandering through farmer’s fields and yards just off Highway 59 between Otterburne and Niverville, Man.

Photographer Christine Morin captured it in her dad’s corn field just outside Otterburne on Monday, and then Wednesday just off Highway 59 a couple miles south of Niverville.
“It seems to be moving north along the highway,” said Morin. “I’ve never seen a moose here before it’s definitely strange.”

Manitoba Conservation said they are keeping tabs on where the moose goes and warning drivers in the area to keep an eye out for it in case it goes onto the road. Hitting a moose can result in serious injuries.
