Assault complaint leads Cut Knife RCMP to cocaine seizure

Cut Knife RCMP say four people are facing cocaine trafficking charges following a search on Little Pine First Nation.

On the morning of Sept. 3, police were called to a complaint of an assault.

As a result of their investigation, police searched a home on the Saskatchewan reserve, leading to the seizure of cocaine, drug trafficking paraphernalia and cash.

RCMP said the four people, all from Little Pine First Nation, have been charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of the proceeds of crime and breach of an undertaking.

Donnell Jimmy, 43, Lucy Bull, 31, Kevin Kahmahkotayo, 21, and Jessa Jimmy, 20, appeared in Cut Knife provincial court on Tuesday.

Little Pine First Nation is approximately 175 kilometres northwest of Saskatoon.
