A man who was reported missing in northern Saskatchewan has been found.

La Ronge RCMP said Charles Samuel Thomas, 47, had made his way to an occupied cabin.

He was returned to La Ronge by Canadian Rangers.

Police said he appeared to be in good condition but was taken for medical treatment as a precaution.

Thomas, who is from Sturgeon Lake, was reported missing on Aug. 30 after last being seen that morning at a cabin near Hunter Bay on Lac La Ronge.

Mounties said the area where he was last seen is remote and heavily treed.

The Civil Air Search and Rescue Association and Canadian Rangers from La Ronge assisted in the search for Thomas.
