“The Labour Day long weekend is particularly challenging as families spend time wrapping up the summer before transitioning into the back to school period,” said Mark Donnison, who is the vice-president of donor relations.
Donnison said people answered the call earlier this summer when a request went out for donors and he is hoping they will answer the call again.
“To continue to meet patients’ needs, we urge new and returning donors to book an appointment starting now and through Labour Day,” Donnison said in a statement.
The Saskatoon office, which is located at 1206 Emerson Road, is open Tuesday’s and Friday’s from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. CT, Wednesday’s and Thursday’s from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and again from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and Saturday’s from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
