A Yorkton man is facing several charges after being accused of ramming a Saskatoon police cruiser with a stolen vehicle.
Officers spotted the stolen vehicle late Wednesday afternoon on 3rd Avenue near Queen Street.

Police said it had been involved in a gas-and-dash earlier in the day.
Officers said when they tried to stop the stolen vehicle, the driver rammed a police cruiser and then fled on foot.
An officer unsuccessfully fired a Taser at the suspect after he refused to stop for pursuing officers.
He was tracked down in the 500-block of 4th Avenue North and taken into custody.

No injuries were reported but the suspect was taken to hospital as a precaution.
The 43-year-old man, who was wanted on an outstanding warrant, is charged with evading police, assaulting a police officer with a weapon, theft and possession of a stolen vehicle.
He was also ticketed for driving while disqualified, failing to report an accident to police and driving without due care and attention.
