Jay-Z delivered an emotional encore at Britain’s V Festival on Saturday, ending his headlining set with a musical tribute to Chester Bennington.
Jay-Z and the late Linkin Park frontman, who tragically took his own life in July, worked together on their critically acclaimed Collision Course album back in 2005.

In fact, their joint track Numb/Encore won the 2006 Grammy for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration, and it was this song that Jay-Z chose to end his set.
“Can I get some love for Chester tonight?” the rapper told the crowd, asking them to “make some noise so he can hear you in heaven.” Watch:
There were many other highlights from the show, which featured Jay-Z performing tracks from his 4:44 album live for the first time, and fans expressed their excitement on social media.
