Charges have been withdrawn against a Hammonds Plains, N.S. woman only a few days after she was originally arrested following a targeted traffic stop, RCMP tell Global News.
On Wednesday at about 5:15 p.m., the South Shore Integrated Crime Unit with help from RCMP conducted a targeted traffic stop in a business parking lot located off Highway 10 in Cooksville, N.S.

Police say a quantity of crack cocaine was seized, as well as drug paraphernalia and cash.
Timothy Charles McKenzie, 28, of Hammonds Plains was arrested and remanded into custody and faces a charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine. He was scheduled to appear in Bridgewater Provincial Court on Thursday.
Alisha Dawn Hynick, 25, also of Hammonds Plains was also arrested and later released with conditions, but Nova Scotia RCMP Const. Georges El-Azzi confirmed Sunday to Global News that charges against Hynick have since been withdrawn.
