Police were called to disperse a crowd, after a party got out of hand in Villeray Park in Montreal Saturday night.

Police spokesperson Manuel Couture said that a group of young people — between 50 to 100 youth — wanted to join the party.

“Security blocked them from entering the site,” Couture said, adding the event was a private party.

A verbal altercation between the security guards and the youth ensued, and police were called in to intervene.
