A 40-year-old woman and a 17-year-old female are facing multiple charges relating to fraud and stolen goods after an investigation by Saint John Police.
According to police, the women were arrested at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday while they were investigating a wallet stolen earlier this week.

Cards from the wallet were alleged to have been used by the pair at three Saint John businesses.
As a result, police have charged each of them with three counts of possession of stolen goods under $5,000 and three counts of fraud.

The two women were eventually released. They’ll appear in court at a later date to answer the charges.
