Parts of Saskatchewan saw extreme drought levels this summer. Regina had its driest July in more than 130 years. Take a look at this picture from the Canadian Drought Monitor. It shows conditions as of July 31.

Extreme heat was also a factor in this summer’s drought with multiple days over 30 degrees Celsius.
