Foul play has been ruled out following the discovery of a young man’s body in West Kelowna.
Jake Fehr’s body was located in a wooded area near McDougall Creek in West Kelowna Saturday, August 12.

The 17 year-old had been reported missing from his Chieftain Road home in West Kelowna July 13.
“RCMP can confirm that the deceased male has now been positively identified, by the BC Coroners Service, as missing youth, Jake Fehr,” Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey said. “We are profoundly saddened by this discovery, our deepest sympathy is extended to Jake’s family and friends during this difficult time.”
The file has been turned over to the BC Coroners Service.
