The city is asking the public to follow these safety tips:
Don’t feed the goats. They have enough leafy spurge and other noxious weeds to munch on.
Don’t bring large groups to view the goats. They are spooked by large crowds and loud noises.
Try to abstain from bringing pets. There will be herding dogs off-leash and working but they are trained to protect and herd the goats. They are very protective with their goats so they will bark at any strange dogs approaching the herd. Keep any pets on a leash.
Avoid stopping your vehicle on Rundle Park Road. To view the goats, park in a nearby lot.
Don’t pet the goats without permission from the shepherd.
