WINNIPEG – A man was beaten and robbed early Monday morning after arranging a date through a popular online website.
Police said the man had made arrangements to meet the woman shortly after midnight but when he got to the home in the 100 block of Tyndall Avenue he was assaulted.
The man was able to escape but police said he was then chased by the attackers and assaulted a second time. He was left with minor injuries.
Police would not reveal the name of the website used.
