A 37-year-old man from Mexico has drowned in Tuc-El-Nuit Lake in the Okanagan’s Oliver area.
Police were called Tuesday afternoon because a man’s body was discovered in the lake.

Police said a witness recalled seeing him go swimming earlier on Tuesday.
“[He] was not noted as missing until later that day,” Sgt. Blaine Gervais said.
“His death is not deemed as suspicious.”
The investigation into the man’s death continues.
