London police have identified the motorcyclist who died in hospital earlier this week after his bike collided with a home in the city’s southeast end.
The collision happened around 7:15 p.m. on Monday in the area of Elgin Street and Calvin Street. Police said a male motorcyclist struck a residence in the neighbourhood and was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
The man was pronounced dead in hospital and was identified by police on Thursday as Sean Rumball, 41, of Centralia, Ont.
It wasn’t clear at the time whether anyone was inside the home when the collision occurred, but police said no one else was injured.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to call the London Police Service at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
