A former Burlington teacher has been cleared of all 27 sex charges against him.
59-year-old Dennis Connolly was accused of sexual offences involving elementary students, and at the time of his arrest was teaching at Alexander’s Public School on Sutton Drive.
He ultimately faced one count of assault and 13 counts each of sexual assault and sexual interference involving a total of 14 students.
The judge’s written reasons for finding Connolly not guilty were filed but not read in open court. That was by agreement between the Halton Crown attorney and one of Connolly’s lawyers.
He was assigned to home without teaching duties on Nov. 17, 2015.
