A routine traffic stop in Mississauga early Monday morning has led to firearms and weapons charges for two men.

Peel police conducted a traffic stop in the Hurontario Street and Absolute Avenue area, just north of Burnamthorpe Road at around 2 a.m.

As a result, police found a loaded .32 calibre revolver, 400 rounds of ammunition, as well as a large quantity of cocaine and crack cocaine.

Earle Anthony Campbell-Noel, 25, of Brampton, and 38-year-old Dwayne Radcliffe Willis of Ajax were arrested and charged with numerous firearm and drug-related offences.
