Greater Montreal Day initiative guidelines

The following are the guidelines (“Guidelines”) for the Greater Montreal Day initiative (the “Initiative”) being administered by Corus Television Limited Partnership, by its general partner Corus Television G.P. Inc., together with its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, related and associated companies, successors, assigns, licensees, and any programming service/network owned, operated and controlled by Corus Entertainment Inc. (collectively, “Corus”).

1. ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for the Initiative, participants (“Participant(s)”) must be legal residents of Quebec, be of the age of majority or older at the time of posting their submission and have a valid Facebook, Twitter or Instagram account at the time of entry.

Employees of Corus and its affiliates, subsidiaries, related companies, advertising and promotional agencies, and the household members of any of the above, are not eligible to participate in the Initiative.

2. INITIATIVE PERIOD

Submissions will be accepted between 12:00 a.m. – 11:59 p.m. ET.

3. HOW TO PARTICIPATE

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

Participants must post a photo of their good deed to either the Global Montreal Facebook page or Twitter page or upload a photo to your Instagram page using the hashtag #GreaterMontrealDay or #JournéeMTLEnsemble.

If using Instagram, your profile must not be a private account.

The Guidelines will be available online until the end of the submissions period.

4. DONATIONS

Corus will provide two (2) donations of One Thousand Canadian Dollars (CDN$1,000.00) to a registered Quebec charity or registered Quebec non-profit organization chosen by two (2) randomly selected Participants and approved by Corus (each a “Donation”).

The Donation(s) are not transferable and not redeemable for cash and will not be extended under any circumstances.

5. SELECTION OF PARTICIPANTS

Two (2) Participants will be randomly selected and notified by 12:00 p.m. ET the following day.

If a selected Participant does not respond within Twenty-Four Hours (24 hours), he/she will be disqualified and another Participant may be randomly selected.

Corus shall be in no way responsible for the failure, for any reason whatsoever, of a selected Participant to receive notification or for Corus’ failure to receive a selected Participant’s response.

6. GENERAL

By participating in the Initiative, each Participant agrees to abide by these Guidelines and the decisions of Corus which shall be final and binding in all respects.

Participants who have not complied with these Guidelines are subject to disqualification.

Corus reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate the Initiative, in whole or part, and/or modify, amend or suspend the Initiative, and/or these Rules in any way, at any time, for any reason without prior notice.

By participating in the Initiative, Participants agree that his/her name and social media post related to the Initiative may be used in any and all forms of media, without any further compensation by Corus and waives all rights (including moral rights) with respect to printed, broadcast and other forms of publicity.

Personal information collected during the course of the Initiative shall be used by Corus and its authorized representatives solely for the purposes of conducting the Initiative and making the Donation(s), and will not be used or disclosed for any other purpose unless required by law.

Corus will use the Participant’s personal information only for identified purposes, and protect the Participant’s Personal Information in a manner that is consistent with Corus’ Privacy Policy.

The Initiative is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and any personal information provided by a Participant is being provided to Corus and not Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.

Any questions or comments regarding the Initiative must be directed to Corus and not to any of the social media platforms on which the Initiative may have been advertised

The Initiative is subject to all applicable laws of the province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
