Members of the Saskatoon Police Service responded to a bomb threat at Saskatchewan Polytechnic on Tuesday.

An email was received at around 10 a.m. CT. It suggested there was a bomb in the building that would detonate.

Authorities combed the post-secondary school on Idylwyld Drive North but found no evidence of explosives or anything suspicious.

Police are investigating the email as part of the ongoing cases of suspicious packages, and benign white powder envelopes delivered across the city.
