After a wild Easter weekend in parts of the province with a foot of snow falling in some areas, conditions have calmed down and improved vastly across the province for Easter Monday.
It was a chilly start to the day though, feeling like -15 with wind chill to start the day in Saskatoon as temperatures fell back to -9 this morning before warming up above freezing before noon.
The mostly cloudy skies that started the day will continue through the afternoon as the mercury climbs up to a daytime high in mid-single digits.
Tuesday
-9 is what it’ll feel like with wind chill Tuesday morning as you head out the door before temperatures warm up into high positive single digits during the day.
Cloudy skies will stick around all day to kick off the new work week with a slight chance of showers from the afternoon into the early evening.
Wednesday-Friday
On Wednesday, a weak system will slide through and kick up a good chance of showers in the afternoon and evening with a daytime high expected to top out in low double digits.
We warm up into the mid-teens on Thursday with some upper ridging helping clear skies out and give us some sunshine during the day.
Clouds then clouds return for Friday with a chance of showers later on as a cold front helps drop temperatures back with a daytime high back into low double digits.
Weekend Outlook
Cooler air looks to continue slip in Saturday into Sunday with daytime highs back in low double digits or high single digits as systems slide by and keep us under mostly cloudy skies with a chance of showers.
