Sainte-Catherine molotov cocktail investigated by SQ

A molotov cocktail was thrown at a house on Brébeuf Street in Sainte-Catherine, in Montreal’s south shore, early Tuesday morning.

The Roussillon police handed the investigation to Sûreté du Québec (SQ) at 4 a.m.

“It is suspected that organized crime may have been behind this incident,” said SQ spokesperson Claude Denis.

Nobody was injured in the fire, while minor damages were sustained by the property.
