Warmer air moves in this week with a chance of showers on Tuesday.
Saskatoon Forecast
Today
It was a misty start to the day in Saskatoon with visibility down to 800 metres with freezing fog at times overnight as we fell back to -3 with wind chills down to -7 this morning.
A fog advisory was issued south of Saskatoon this morning and ended by noon for areas like Outlook, Hanley, Rosetown, Kindersley, Moose Jaw and Regina where visibility was near zero at times this morning.
We warmed up above freezing by late morning with an afternoon high in mid-single digits as mist dissipates and clouds stick around.
Tonight
We may see some fog and mist return tonight as we cool back down as cloud cover continues and we fall back to an overnight low at or just below freezing with a very slight chance of a few showers or flurries.
Tuesday
-5 is what it’ll feel like Tuesday morning with wind chill before we warm up to an afternoon high in mid-to-upper single digits later on.
Cloudy skies will stick around through the day with an upper trough swinging through bringing in a slight chance of showers from midday into the afternoon.
Wednesday-Friday
A disturbance rippling through may bring in some cloud cover and a slight chance of showers early in the day before we push up toward a double digit daytime high as clouds start to move out.
Partly to mostly cloudy skies are expected on Thursday as a system slides by south of the city with a mix of sun and cloud on Friday as we cool back down out of double digits.
Weekend Outlook
It looks like the warmth will stick around on Saturday under mostly cloudy skies before we may get into some more sunshine on Sunday with afternoon highs staying in double digits.
