SASKATOON – A 21-year-old man has been charged after making a false complaint to police over the weekend.
The man allegedly called 911 on Saturday evening and told the dispatcher a woman was dealing drugs and pointing a handgun at people on the city’s east side.

Five patrol cars, three sergeants and a canine unit were sent to investigate.
It turned out to be false.
The man was located and arrested for public mischief.
He will remain in custody until his first court appearance.
