Surrey RCMP looking for pickup truck involved in hit-and-run

Surrey RCMP are looking for the driver of a pick-up truck involved in a hit-and-run last night.

RCMP say they were called to the intersection of 138th Street and 92nd Avenue just before 7:30 p.m. Saturday night.

A pickup had struck a grey Mazda 3 before leaving the scene of the accident. The collision caused the Mazda to spin into a retaining wall.

Both occupants of the Mazda sustained “significant, non-life threatening” injuries and were taken to hospital.

The pickup truck was last seen driving westbound on 92nd Ave away from the accident scene.

RCMP are asking that anyone witnessed the collision, or observed a newer dark-coloured pickup with front end damage driving away from the scene of the collision to call the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or Crime Stoppers.
