Murder charges laid after man found dead in home

A man is facing murder charges after a homicide on a Manitoba First Nation.

RCMP were called to a home on Keeseekoowenin First Nation late Friday night after hearing about a disturbance.

Officers found 34-year-old Terrel Stewart Shorting dead.

50-year-old Terris Ronald Mintuck has been arrested and is facing Second Degree Murder charges.

The community is about 100 kilometers south of Dauphin.
