With Christmas parties in full swing, the Kelowna RCMP and MADD are working to rid the streets of impaired drivers.
Signs saying “Report impaired drivers, call 911” will be placed on marked police vehicles and put up in various parts of Kelowna.
The campaign is meant to raise awareness about how the public should not hesitate to report drunk drivers to RCMP. If you don’t have a hands-free set, don’t worry: there is an exemption to the province’s distracted driving laws if you are making a 911 call.
