Further north, a system moving northeast through the Sea of Japan will bring snowfall into Japan and coastal Russia. Showers behind the storm could also fall across the Korean Peninsula.

In the Southern Hemisphere, the approaching summer will show itself in Australia. The continent will be mostly warm with a few showers in the west and along the north coast.
